The products development was carried out upon request from a European based importer of quality garden furniture in the hotel and restaurant sector. Our client's objective was to offer its own unique and exclusive products to change its positioning in the market and achieve its aim of reaching larger customers.
Despite having considerable a very precise knowledge of the market requirements our client lacked the technical expertise and know-how to develop its own products 'from scratch'. This is where ASTECH could help.
After several meetings with our client, we identified the overall concept of the new product range. The technical specification handbook was drawn up, along with a clear evaluation of the pricing structure.
For the design, ASTECH then commissioned a well-know European designer to create the whole range which now comprises of 7 separate units.
These products are currently being manufactured in Vietnam by a quality manufacturer and are being sold in several countries worldwide.
At the end of a project which has lasted for several months, ASTECH has successfully and fully met the requirements of their client.
